“Liquid Matrix I” was inspired by the sun reflecting on the
Trinity River and the movie, “The Matrix”. The flowing lines and copper circle represent the sun shimmering on
the river. The grid pattern evolved after watching the movie “the Matrix”, in mathematics rows and columns create
a matrix.
“Liquid Matrix I” represents a
vision and what lies beneath. In the movie life was experienced in a “dream” state supported by a computer construct,
the matrix, created by Artificial Intelligence. Science states that what we see as solid are atoms held together by energy.
What separates what we believe we “live” and our “dream” experiences?
